Dr. Stefan Kappaun
Stefan Kappaun acts as Executive Vice President of the Durst Group, a global technology leader in the development and manufacturing of large format inkjet printing equipment for graphics, ceramics, textiles, labels and corrugated materials. In this position, he is member of the Executive Team of the Durst Group, Chairman of the Board of Durst’s own ink factory and Board Member of different Joint Venture companies such as Koenig Bauer Durst GmbH. His main responsibilities are the management of the ink business and various business development activities.
Stefan Kappaun studied industrial chemistry at Graz University of Technology and earned his doctoral degree prior to joining Durst in 2007. In addition to his technical background, he holds a MBA degree in General Management, is certified Business Development Manager, certified Innovation Manager and studied Management and Business at INSEAD, Stanford and Harvard Business School.
