In the past 12 months, we have had multiple conversations about sustainability in print with numerous people from a variety of sectors and nationalities. The common theme that runs through all is a consensus that being a sustainable business is the right thing to do. Nobody believes that ignoring sustainability is a good idea!
Secondly, all believe that collectively, the global print industry is still not doing enough.
This, we believe, is in part because it is difficult to see positive change, insight and ideas in one place. Prior to EcoPrint, there was no central repository for thought leadership and best practice.
Visibility is so important. Seeing relatable success mobilises people to change. This is basic human psychology. We either become inspired to want to change or we are fearful of missing out.
So, we rebuilt EcoPrint with the help of some awesomely enthusiastic and supportive partners and people.

What we have in store on 11-12 October is a veritable smorgasbord of content, with a variety of flavours for sustainability. There are a range of different stories, including insight from experts, pioneers, innovators and enthusiasts from across the world. The content was recorded throughout the summer via Zoom, and then at Century Club on 22 September in London. The result is over 20 hours of opinion, help, inspiration and ideas to ignite action or help provide those already on their sustainable travels with more ideas to integrate into their business.

While the content is broadcast from 11-12 October, it will remain available to view whenever you like via the event website, up to Christmas. Thereafter, it will reside online on our YouTube TV channel.
Just as sustainability is a journey, this, once again, has proven to be the case with EcoPrint! We adapted and made a pivot from an in-person event, back in the late spring of '23. But we have not given up and we have reached our destination!

Going virtual is returning to our roots, as this business was born out of a need for the print technology community to connect virtually during lockdown. Going virtual has also enabled us to provide free access to all the content, to reach more people globally, and to simply be more inclusive. It has also dramatically reduced our carbon output in the process. All these actions and values align with our sustainable mission and purpose.
