Canon join EcoPrint as Premier Partner
Canon Europe, the leading digital print and imaging technology manufacturer has joined a growing number of innovators to become a partner for the EcoPrint Summit, which takes place 6-7 June in Geneva.
This further underlines the importance of sustainability and the need for an event and a community dedicated to improving the sustainable performance of the sector - whether it be wide format, commercial, labels or packaging printing.
EcoPrint is designed to inspire positive action, to help print service providers learn from others while hearing from thought leaders, brands, retailers, and respected authorities such as the UN, World Economic Forum, Nature Conservancy, Climate Arc and other organisations who are leading initiatives for environmental leadership and protection.
“We are delighted to have Canon Europe involved with EcoPrint on a high level as a premier partner. This helps us to bring to life an event which is full of quality, inspiration, and a wide range of experiences. We look forward to working with the Canon Europe team at the event and beyond, to help the industry implement improved sustainable practices, tackle key issues, and learn the latest trends and the opportunities that sustainability provides.” Says Marcus Timson, Co-Founder, EcoPrint Summit.
Jennifer Kolloczek, European Planning, Marketing & Innovation Senior Director, Production Print at Canon Europe also comments, “Being environmentally responsible has never been more important for PSPs, customers, and the brands that they work for - and we’re seeing many of our customers looking for ways that they can make their production processes more sustainable, reduce waste and make better use of resources. We’re working closely with PSPs to support them in achieving this ambition, whilst continuously evolving our own portfolio and supply chains to help reduce environmental impacts and emissions. We’re delighted to be a partner at this year’s EcoPrint Summit’ and to be part of an event aiming to drive further positive environmental change across the industry”.
